About Megan

Megan is an illustrator and graphic designer from Singapore who graduated from Singapore Polytechnic with a Diploma in Visual Communications and Media Design in May 2017. There, she studied graphic design, logo design, copywriting, branding, advertising, web design, marketing, poster design, filming, motion graphics, amongst others.

She is currently taking a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Art and Animation at DigiPen Institute of Technology.

Besides being a designer, Megan loves the arts, too. Her favourite art style is still life. Her forte is in colour pencils, but she can use a great variety of other media, too. She loves digital art a lot as well, and can always be found drawing on her Wacom graphics tablet.

She enjoys expressing herself through her art. She like cats and nature a lot, so most of her works in traditional media are centred on them. For her digital artworks, she often draws character potraits or works that convey her emotions.

When working in teams, Megan often takes the role of the illustrator, colourist, writer or animator. With strength in the English langauge, Megan enjoys doing copywriting a lot. She likes making motion graphics out of hand-drawn illustrations, too.

The 'bright illustrator' in Megan's logo has a double meaning; the first of which refers to Megan's being an illustrator of bright, that is, cute and colourful things, and the second of which refers to Megan's creativity and innovation that are infused upon her works.
